Folks, if you’re looking for a sweet treat for your kiddos that isn’t full of cancer-causing dyes or other frightening ingredients, look no further. These gummies are sure to be a crowd pleaser. They’re super simple to make, but still have a super fun shape and bright color kids love. With only a few ingredients and a candy mold, you can literally whip these up in under 5 minutes (plus a few minutes in the freezer to harden). What’s not to love?
I actually found my cute mold in the dollar section at Target, but you can also find cute molds at craft stores or on Amazon.
This one is perfect:
Here’s the Amazon link so you can order it.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup juice (I used 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, then filled the measuring cup up to the 1/2 cup mark with carrot juice. My kids like the gummies sour.)
- 8 tablespoons gelatin (I use this kind or this kind Both brands come grass-fed cows and aren't processed in a way that creates MSG.)
- sweetener, optional- if your children prefer super sweet treats add sweetener of your choice to taste.
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over low heat, dissolve gelatin into juice, stirring constantly. When the gelatin is completely dissolved the consistency will be like a very thin syrup.
- Pour into the mold of your choice, then pop into the freezer for about 10 minutes, or until set.

Hi Kimball,
Just wondering if you or any family members have had to deal with severe autism? My grandson is ten yo, and severely autistic. No speech. So sad and heartbreaking.:(
The autism has some genetic factors; it is not the regressive kind.
Again, just wondering if you have any helpful suggestions.
Thanks,
Sharon
