Homemade {No Sugar Added} Peppermint Patties

I know this photo doesn’t do a very good job of endorsing this recipe.  I did the best I could.  Really.  I made one batch of this candy to see how it would turn out, but my boys and some neighbor children scarfed it down so fast I didn’t even have a chance to grab my camera.  So of course I had to make a second batch.
With the first batch I just rolled the candy into little balls, but it was messy, so the second batch got wrapped in plastic wrap and cut into slices.  Either way you choose to do it, believe me it’ll satisfy your chocolate craving.

Homemade {No Sugar Added} Peppermint Patties
Adapted from Nutiva

2 tablespoons coconut oil, room temperature
4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
4 tablespoons coconut manna (you could use a nut butter or tahini instead, but skip the peppermint oil)
3 tablespoons raw honey
1-2 drops doTERRA peppermint essential oil
Stir ingredients together until smooth.  Pour onto a large section of plastic wrap and roll into a tube.  Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes, or until firm.  Slice and dig in.
